Giovanni Culotta

Gio is a graduating senior at Southeastern Louisiana University with a concentration in theatre design. While costumes are their specialty, they have a background in animation, ceramics, and sculpture, and are always excited to add a new medium to their tool belt. Combining mediums and creating work that’s hard to categorize is a staple of their working process. You’ll often find circus and clown motifs in their work, with which they have always been extremely fascinated. Gio’s goal is to use costume work and textiles to bind people together in understanding, as stitches bind the clothes on our bodies.
